Troubled with financial and relationship problems, Joan, a widow and mother of four, committed suicide by cutting herself on the wrist. Although her attempt failed, it left a scar on her both mentally and physically. She then decides to get a tattoo to cover the ugly slash, and also to remind herself of the incident.
